10km event

The 10km race will start on the Lytton Road overpass at the following times:

6.30am start

Sporting Wheelchair Athletes Blue

6.45am start

• Assemble at the front:
  Elite Blue (max 40 minutes)
• Assemble behind Elites:
  Runners Red (max 50 minutes)
  Runners Green (max 60 minutes)
  Joggers Yellow (max 85 minutes)
• Assemble behind Runners/Joggers:
  Individual Walkers White (1-2 people)
  Group Walkers Grey (3+ people)
• Assemble at the back to ensure your safety:
  Strollers

5km event

The 5km event will start at 9.30am from Hamilton Recreational Reserve on Remora Road at Portside, Hamilton.

• Assemble at the front:
  Elite Purple (up to 20 minutes)
• Assemble behind Elites:
  Runners Orange (max 30 minutes)
  Joggers Maroon (max 45 minutes)
• Assemble behind Runners/Joggers:
  Individual Walkers Aqua (1-2 people)
  Group Walkers Pink (3+ people)
• Assemble at the back to ensure your safety:
  Strollers

Post-race

Crossing the finish line won’t be the end of the celebrations at this year’s Bridge to Brisbane — a packed program of entertainment is planned for the day.

Then after the race, participants and their families can sit back and relax on the grass arena in front of the stage, while enjoying the post-race entertainment and presentations from 8.00am. Our fantastic line-up includes family favourite Humphrey B Bear, hot new Brisbane band SMALL MERCIES and Idol crooner CARL RISELEY.

9.00am - 9.10am 10km and Wheelies prize presentations
9.10am - 9.25am Humphrey B Bear performs
9.25am - 10.05am 5km race commentary
10.05am - 10.35am Carl Riseley performs
10.35am - 10.45am 5km prize presentations
10.45am - 11.00am Small Mercies perform
11.00am - 11.15am Best dressed, teams and random prize draw presentations
11.15am - 11.30am Small Mercies perform

Race participants will have the chance to win fantastic random draw prizes including two Suzuki Swift GLX manual vehicles with 12-months Suncorp Insurance*. To be eligible, entrants must place their Random Draw Tag (from their race bib) into the Suzuki display car near the finish line between 7.30-10.30am, and then be present near the stage for the prize draw between 10.35-11.30am and claim their prize within two minutes if their race number is called.
