Trains
Bowen Hills and Fortitude Valley Stations are approximately 900m from the RNA Showgrounds. The train is an easy and great alternative to get to the 10km start line at Murarrie. Tickets can be purchased at the station. For train timetables visit translink.com.au

Post Race bus tickets to take you back to the start line after the event are still available. Bus Tickets – $4.00 per person (These tickets are still available but limited)

Getting home after the Event
You can choose from one of the following transport options for getting home after the event.

Pre-Paid Buses
A pre-paid bus service will be available from O’Connell Street near the RNA Showgrounds to shuttle competitors back to the 5km start line and 10km car parks to your parked car after the race. This service is available to all entrants who pre-purchase a bus ticket from the Race Office prior to 4.00pm on Monday 5 September 2011 (unless sold out prior). The Race Office is located at 1/120 Fison Avenue West, Eagle Farm 4009.

Bus Ticket – $4.00 per person
First shuttle leaves at 9.00am, last shuttle leaves at 12noon. Anyone with a ticket arriving after 12noon will not be guaranteed a seat. This ticket is a ‘post-race’ bus ticket. Please note this ticket is for competitors planning to find their own way to either start line before the race. You only need a bus ticket for one direction.

Public Transport
Bowen Hills and Fortitude Valley Train Stations are approximately 900m from the finish line at the RNA Showgrounds. To return to the 10km start line, take the Cleveland line and get off at Murarrie Station, which is approximately 100m walk from the Murarrie Sports Ground. Tickets can be purchased at the train station. Please see www.translink.com.au for details.

Brisbane City Council Buses will be running on their normal Sunday schedule from outside the Royal Brisbane Hospital on Bowen Bridge Road. Tickets can be purchased on the bus.
