Become a Fundraiser
Every entry helps us raise funds for charity and this year in 2011 we helped Legacy Queensland. Legacy’s mission is to care for the spouses and dependant of our Australian veterans. They provide assistance from pension advocacy, safety and security, financial security and social and medical care. They one of Australia’s oldest charitable institutions and today cares for over 115,000 widows and 1,900 children and dependants.
We encourage participants to make even more of a difference to Legacy or a chosen charity by building your own fundraising webpage (or ‘hero page’ as we like to call it). In just minutes you can build your own page and email your friends and family for a donation with the unique link of your hero page. Each donation is recorded on your page along with any messages of support.
As part of helping you raise money for our 2011 event beneficiary Legacy or a chosen charity, Suncorp Bank again this year committed to donating $5,000 to the charity nominated by the highest fundraising individual. The highest fundraiser was also awarded with a $1,000 Suncorp Bank Everyday Basics Account.*
